Prices above exclude GST. In Australia that adds 10%, so the Minimum Package is A$328.90 a month all up and Full Coverage is A$658.90. If you are registered for GST you claim it back, so the number that matters to your P&L is the one on the plan.
The comparison that actually decides this is the wage bill, and it moved this year. The Fair Work Commission raised modern award minimum wages 4.75% from 1 July 2026, taking the national minimum wage to A$26.44 an hour, or A$33.05 for an award-free adult casual once the 25% casual loading is applied.
Cover the dinner peak properly, 5pm to 9pm seven nights, and that is 28 hours a week or about 121 hours a month. At A$0.80 a minute, overage adds up faster than the gap between the two plans-300 minutes over on the smaller plan costs more than simply being on the larger one. If you're consistently over we'll tell you and move you up rather than quietly billing it.
There are generic AI receptionists in this market from around A$89 a month. If your phone mostly carries enquiries - opening hours, "are you open Monday", supplier calls - one of those will serve you fine and cost a third as much. Buy that instead.
Skai Solutions costs more because it does a different job: it completes the order into your POS rather than taking a message, it knows your full menu including modifiers and sold-out items, and it's tuned for Australia speech rather than generic English.
