Skai Solutions connects to Impos, so a phone order arrives as a ticket the same way a counter order does, modifiers included, with no re-keying and no new hardware. Impos does not publish plan prices, so budget it as a quoted install rather than a monthly list price.
Impos was founded in Melbourne and built specifically for Australian hospitality. It is now part of the OOLIO group alongside SwiftPOS, Bepoz and Idealpos. Common in established restaurants and multi-site groups.
Impos venues are usually busier and more structured than the Square end of the market - real menus with modifiers, real service periods, real phone volume on Friday and Saturday. Skai Solutions handles the modifiers rather than dropping them into a note field.
Because Impos does not publish it. We read impos.com.au on 4 September 2026 and there is no plan table, no monthly price and no per terminal figure anywhere on the public site. The company describes itself as a boutique hospitality point of sale provider that sells, develops, implements and supports the system, which is an accurate description of a quoted install rather than a self serve subscription.
That matters for how you budget, and it is the real difference between this end of the market and the other one. A published-price POS tells you the number before you talk to anyone: Square for Restaurants lists A$0 a month on its Free plan and A$129 per location on Plus on its Australian page, read the same day. A quoted POS gives you a number shaped by your site count, your terminal count, your hardware and your support level, and it usually arrives as a package with an install date attached.
Neither model is better. The quoted model is why Impos venues tend to have a menu that is actually built properly, with modifiers and service periods configured by somebody who does this for a living, and that configuration is exactly what a phone agent needs to work. The published model is why a cafe can be trading on Tuesday having decided on Monday. Ask for the annual figure including support and hardware when you are comparing, because the monthly number on its own will not compare cleanly against a list price.
An integration page that says "it syncs" is not telling you anything. Here is the honest boundary.
Impos venues are the busier end of our customer base, which means the failure modes are different from a cafe on a published plan.
The first is menu drift across service periods. A venue running a bar menu, a lunch menu and a dinner menu has three sets of availability, and if the service period changes in Impos but the specials were never entered, the agent will accurately sell you a menu that is out of date. That is a configuration problem, not a software one, and it is worth an hour before go live.
The second is the large group booking. A phone call about a function for twenty two people with a set menu and a dietary list is a conversation, not a transaction, and it should go to a person. The agent transfers it. Our page on the cheapest way to get a restaurant phone answered sets out where each category of answering actually earns its keep, and what an AI receptionist is covers the arithmetic on missed calls. If your phone line is up for renewal at the same time, price it separately using what a restaurant phone system costs in Australia.
A$299 a month for 500 minutes, or A$599 for 1,500, plus a one-off A$499 setup that covers the Impos connection and your menu build. In New Zealand that is NZ$325, NZ$649 and NZ$545. Month to month, no lock-in, 30 days' notice. Full pricing.
Before you buy anything, work out what your unanswered calls are actually worth. If the monthly loss is smaller than the fee, don't buy it - we'd rather you found that out now.

No. You keep your existing number and divert calls to Skai. The divert can be switched on and off - during service only, after hours only, or all the time.
Five days from sign-up to live calls. The one-off setup fee covers the menu build, the POS connection and voice tuning for your venue.
Skai transfers the call to your team. It takes the routine volume off your floor and escalates anything that genuinely needs a human.
